WELCOME

Welcome to the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) website!

I am a faculty member with the Department of  Chemical Engineering at McMaster University and I feel privileged to have been chosen as the ONWiE chair in July 2018 for a five-year term.

Here is what you can find out and do on this site:

»  Learn about outreach programs we run
»  Find out what engineering is and what engineers do in their careers
»  Explore engineering programs you can study in Ontario
»  Meet engineering ambassadors who can help answer your questions
»  See statistics about women in engineering in Ontario and Canada
»  Discover more about ONWiE and what we do

We need more women in engineering to identify and solve tomorrow's engineering challenges and hope that this website will be inspiring and informative for you.
