Why did you choose to study engineering?: I enjoy the combination of hands on experience and the theory to back it up.
How do you apply your engineering degree to your current career?: I work in manufacturing and welding of nuclear steam generators and waste containers. A significant amount of the theory I learned in school is directly applicable to my projects at work.
What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?: Engineering has a very wide range of topics and types of work! Try to figure out what parts you like or what parts interest you, and pursue those even if they are challenging.
