The flexibility I have to blend a career in engineering and a career in politics

Working with my engineering firm to build a not-for-profit childcare centre that provides care to 108 children every day.

What's next in your career?

I love the definition of Serendipity which is Serendipity is when preparedness meets opportunity. I am prepared and willing to pursue opportunities that come my way, but I have no definite plans for immediate changes.

What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?

Engineering is a serving profession. The best engineers always keep in their minds eye those people for whom their work will be used.
