my doctoral supervisor because is an accomplished researcher and produces research that is innovative and focused.

To learn how to solve problems.

What are your best memories of your engineering education?

Conducting the actual biomechanical testing protocols.

How do you apply your engineering degree to your current career?

I use my knowledge of design processes and validation techniques to create innovative techniques and devices for patients with bone and joint disorders.

What do you love most about your career?

That I have the flexibility to study and work on projects that I am passionate about.

Applying for faculty positions and completing my PEng.

What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?

No other discipline focuses on problem solving to the extent that Engineering does. Engineers are highly valuable and highly sought after employees. Stay with it! :)
