The most inspiring engineer I know is ....... Because ........ ?: Dr. Ruth Milman - she was my professor and mentor during my undergrad at UOIT. Her advice was instrumental to my success as a student, and is still helpful to me in my career today. She taught me that you can have it all - family, career, life.

Why did you choose to study engineering?: I wanted to make a difference in the world through technology.
What are your best memories of your engineering education?: Meeting my best friend.. I am not sure how I would have survived the craziness of engineering undergrad without her
How do you apply your engineering degree to your current career?: My job involves a lot of analysis, problem solving and strategic thinking. As a corporate strategist I need to be able to understand the big-picture. My engineering education helps me put all the pieces of the puzzle together to come up with unique solutions.
What do you love most about your career?: I love the opportunities that my degree in engineering provides. It has opened a lot of doors for my career.
What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?: A degree in engineering opens you to a world of opportunity. It's the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
