Because ........ ?: The young engineers I am fortune to work with every day.The ingenuity, drive and fresh perspective inspires me and gives me hope for our future. And of course Julie Payette who is a wonderful ambassador for the field of engineering and for females in our profession.

Why did you choose to study engineering?: I really loved Math and Physics in High School and looked for areas of study that allowed me to continue to explore the sciences.
What are your best memories of your engineering education?: I remember aha moments when something finally clicked.However, most importantly are the friendships I forged that have lasted a lifetime.
How do you apply your engineering degree to your current career?: Engineering has helped me look at any situation with a simplistic and logical viewpoint.I teach others to do the same
What do you love most about your career?: I learn something new everyday.
What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?: Dream big and never give up. Engineers play an important role in making our futures viable and sustainable. We need more engineers.
