Why did you choose to study engineering?: I am good at science and math and enjoy finding out why things work
What are your best memories of your engineering education?: The people I studied with and learning how to learn. Participating in the National Student Bridge Design Competition.
How do you apply your engineering degree to your current career?: I use the technical skills I learnt from sewer and watermain design, hydraulic modeling, road design and apply it to real life situations.
What do you love most about your career?: The opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, solving different types of problems in the multiple stages of development.
What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?: Engineering covers a wide range of opportunities, it will open a lot of doors, and you will be able find and enhance what you love to do. Don’t give up if you first don’t find what you are looking for.
