Why did you choose to study engineering?I thought engineering = train conductor. I excelled at math, chemistry and physics and it was pure luck that I had a very good guidance counsellor that suggested I look into engineering and explained that there were many facets to it. How do you apply your degree to your career?I am a project manager that oversees the design and construction of stormwater management projects. I review the designs and ensure the project stays on track and on budget. |
What advice do you have for someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?
Let go of your preconceived notions. If you like solving problems and can communicate, you will be an excellent engineer.
