Share one fun fact about yourself: When I was 11 I designed a conveyor system to put away the dishes for me. Some would call that laziness, but even at that young age I knew it was actually efficiency!
The most inspiring engineer I know is ....... Because ........ ?: Chris Hadfield, because of the joy he brings to his work along with a rock-solid work ethic and savvy media skills. He is a great ambassador for engineering!

Why did you choose to study engineering?: Because I wanted to make the world a better place.
What are your best memories of your engineering education?: The way our classmates came together to support each other to learn all the academically challenging material.
How do you apply your engineering degree to your current career?: I am always thinking of ways to break down problems into manageable pieces, understand the inputs and outputs of any process, and find ways to do things better.
What do you love most about your career?: The opportunity to pursue projects that inspire me, to help people, to know I am part of the change I want to see in the world. Also, it's never EVER boring. Always something new and exciting to work on!
What advice would you give to someone hoping to pursue a career in engineering?: Be ready to work hard and don't lose hope! Remember who you are as a whole human being. Never lose track of what matters most to you. You're making a great choice, as engineering is a great way to solve important problems and shape the future.
